All of our camera cases have 2 handles and a shoulder strap - both are removable. The material is tough, white CorduraTM. A white bag keeps it's contents 40% cooler in direct sunlight than brown or black.
The 5x7 Camera Case holds an ArtWorks (or other) 5x7 camera, 21 film holders; and leaves one pocket free for up to 2 lenses and accessories (note the Commercial Ektar lens in the huge Ilex Acme #5 shutter mounted on a 4" board!). The case is also deep enough for a folded focusing cloth to fit over the top of the equipment.
The 5x7 Camera Case holds a lot of equipment, but is well balanced and comfortable to carry.
The Monorail Case will hold a 4x5 or 5x7 monorail camera with up to an 18" rail. Note the shoulder pad. The Monorail Case is also a good choice for very large 4x5 field cameras like the Wisner - it will hold 5x7 field cameras as well. |
These are the very best View Camera Cases you can possibly buy. Our padded View Camera Cases are made from water resistant 1000 denier white CorduraTM. White is a superior color because it keeps film and equipment at least 40% cooler in direct sunlight than dark colors (see Ansel Adams’ The Camera, p 172). The inside material will not attract dust, and like the outside, wipes clean easily. For carrying, there is a choice of a 2” wide shoulder strap with a shoulder pad, or carry handles. Both are removable. Each allows you to transport equipment with a maximum of comfort and convenience. The top has a heavy duty coil zipper and 2 slides. The inside top has a full length pocket with VelcroTM fasteners for exposure records, notebooks, etc… it’s large enough to fit a newspaper in.These cases are made by the same company that makes equipment cases for the US Military. Separate padded compartments allow lots of room for extra lenses, boxes of film, accessories, and plenty of film holders. What’s so nice about these cases is that you can carry everything you need in one package – just grab a tripod and go. In the field, they are very convenient to work out of; leave the top unzipped and have easy and quick access to holders. When you’re done, pack everything in it again and walk back to the car. 4x5 Camera Case The 4x5 Case is designed for any flat bed field camera like our ArtWorks 4x5, Wista, Ebony, etc.. It is identical to the 5x7 case, but a little smaller. Outside dimensions are 11" x 15" x 10". Do not order this size if you own a Wisner 4x5 camera - order the 5x7 case above, or a Monorail case below. #75-0950............$ No Longer Available Monorail Camera Case This is our most versatile case! Our Monorail Case can hold any monorail camera up to 5x7 with a rail up to 18” in length.  All seams are double stitched with Bonded 69 Nylon thread. All hardware is strictly heavy duty.
Inside the top is a large pocket that opens and closes with VelcroTM fasteners - contents won't spill out when you open the bag.
The 4x5 Field Camera Case is no larger than a "gadget" bag. Note the 35mm rangefinder camera for scale.
The 4x5 Field Camera Case holds our ArtWorks (or other) Camera, 21 4x5 film holders, lenses and accessories. As with our other cases, the dividers are removable, so you can wipe the inside clean from time to time.
This is the inside of the Monorail Case (not a jet engine). This case is holding a Sinar Standard camera with 210mm lens in place, 21 film holders, a 121mm lens (on a Sinar board), bag bellows; lens paper, screw drivers, cable releases, a towel, and exposure records. The folded focusing cloth goes on top. |
