Polaroid Mask

Polaroid Masks are designed to give you the proper image size for Polaroid materials used with the 545 back in a 4x5 camera.

I once asked a Customer Service agent at Polaroid what the exact image size was from a picture taken with a 545 back in a 4x5 camera. He said "4x5 inches". Huh?

It's less than 4x5 inches, as practicing photographers know - 3-1/2 x 4-1/2 inches to be exact. This mask allows you to see the smaller image size on the groundglass when you frame the picture.

Due to the design of the Polaroid back, the 4-1/2" orientation of the image is asymmetrical on the film plane. Orient the mask with the wide portion opposite the roller end of the Polaroid back. Price includes 2 Masks.
